KIEW MIHAILSKYI CLOISTER a carillon with 36 bells, more than    3 octaves, bell sizes between 15 and 300cm.  Alternatively playable with magnetic hammers, controlled by an electric main-clock, combined with an electric manual or with manual played hand- and feetlever-system, similar to an organ-manual.

3 melodies for 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 time,  22 melodies from the ukrainian Volklore, played each time before the hour-touch, at midday and at      24 o clock the Ukrainian hymn is played  in her entirety before the 12 chimes sound.    

The installation is combinated with a 4-sides tower clock from   Schauer  &  Sachs
